SLOVENIA, 2005 Golf Grad Otocec, Novo Mesto

This is the first 9 holes of an 18 hole development which, we believe, is the first championship course to be built in Slovenia. It was constructed in the forests above Otocec Castle (now an hotel) which lies on an island on the river Krka. The course, designed by Howard Swan, was built in difficult terrain whilst maintaining as many natural features as possible.
